About the Bean
It’s not often that we can serve Ethiopian coffee that’s traceable to a single producer, which is why we are honoured to roast this Chelechele lot by smallholder Haile Abebe. Made possible by the Tracon Farmer’s Direct Traceability program, Abebe’s lot is a pristine reflection of the fruity and floral flavours that characterise coffee from the Gedeo zone. Expert sorting and 14-19 drying period (during which Abebe and his family turn the cherries to ensure even drying) further enhance the bean’s distinct raspberry notes and deep orange blossom aroma.
