Three Panamanian coffees from Lost Origin Coffee Lab return PLUS an exclusive geisha from the revered Gesha Village in Ethiopia. Reacquaint your taste buds and discover the latest in coffee innovation while they last—only around for a limited time.

Chemistry and coffee combine in this latest instalment from the beloved Granja Paraíso 92. We can’t get enough of lots produced by Wilton Benitez, as exemplified by his regular appearances on our rotation. Benitez takes unique varietals and treats them to creative processes to produce profiles found nowhere else in the coffee belt. This particular lot sports an incredible texture and mouthfeel, courtesy of a double anaerobic fermentation. Such a refining process also works to heighten the beans’ floral notes and fruity sweetness.

From the ‘Garden of Eden’ comes another Felipe Arcila special. This renowned producer’s latest micro-lot contains hand-plucked Red Geisha beans bursting with fruit flavour. Grown on the foothills of Colombia’s picturesque central mountain ranges, the farm benefits from the region’s high elevation and propitious rainfall. After washed processing, the beans were sundried on raised beds. This allowed the coffee to develop cherished cup characteristics, such as a fragrant lavender aroma and delightful acidity. Meaning ‘mountain hump’ in the local language, Gora Kone is a washing station that sits on a hill surrounded by forest. Dotted in and around that forest are the 600–1000 farms whose cherries contributed to this cup, shaded by the picturesque acacia and wanza trees endemic to the region. While residing in the Oromia region, this lot sports a strong resemblance to Sidamo coffees with its complex fruit notes and hints of citrus. A washed process leaves the coffee tasting clean and bright, with a flourish of lime zest on the finish.
